Vacation Pics

Finally! Vacation pics from Myrtle Beach are here!

At the ocean - Coleman's first time to the beach...he thought it was okay, but prefers the pool over the ocean and sand.

After playing on the blanket with a bucket and some shells for an hour, he discovered the sand....he still wasn't too sure about it.

One of the places we visited had these AMAZING fountains that came up from the ground. This was the highlight of the trip for Coleman (and probably us) as he SO enjoyed playing in them. He was a huge hit with the crowd too.

Our condo had a wonderful pool with a slow incline that allowed us to sit/lay in the water while Coleman played. It was wonderful!

Snack time - poolside

"Cool Dudes"

Coleman thought it would be fun to go "feet first" (as we do for going down stairs) in the water! Then he would crawl out and start all over again!

It was a fun trip - although I'm now realizing that we need to start taking more pics of the 3 of us...or of Justin and myself as most of the pics were of our precious little Coleman.

Mischievous Little Monkey

In our food pantry...the cereal sits on the bottom b/c that's the only place it will fit for now until I find the motivation to re-organize. This poses a bit of a problem if you don't keep the door closed....let me show you

"Uh Oh....I'm caught"

"Mmmmm....cheerios...how many do you think I can fit in my mouth?"

"I think I filled up my mouth"

"Did I spill some?"

We're Back!

You'd think that while on vacation I would have time to do some blogging updates...but no. We were too busy relaxing and having fun that I didn't find the time to post (or have the desire to as I was too busy doing nothing). Well..we are back from our trip to Myrtle Beach, SC. We had a blast and this was the first vacation as a family of 3 that actually felt like a vacation. We spent countless hours at the pool, an afternoon at the ocean (Coleman's first time at a beach of any kind), good meals in and out of the condo, 2 nights away for mommy and daddy (thanks Grandma and Grandpa!), and some great time spent with our family of 3 as well as Justin's parents and brother (we missed his other brother, his wife, and our 3 nieces...but they were vacationing in CO at the time...maybe next year we'll all have a vaca together). I'll have to post pictures soon and I now realize that I never posted pictures of our Gatlinburg, TN vacation, so I guess those will have to be posted too.

Happy to be back. Already unpacked and only 2 more laundry loads to go! Now it's time to clean this house top to bottom! Time to start getting ready for the busy fall season!
