Photo Review of 2011

Last year, around the new year, I posted THIS. I thought it would be fun to do it again this year for all of our friends and family who will be checkin' out the blog after receiving their Christmas cards. =) So here it is folks...a year in review (mainly with photos) for the Wendzel's. Be on the look out for some new posts to come about all that Coleman has been up to - he'll be 18 months on the 3rd of January! CRAZY

January:
Coleman LOVED watching his Baby Einstein: Baby Noah puppet shows dvd before bed

February:
We took a trip to MD to visit my grandmom, then headed over to NC for the Corn Maze Conference for Justin's work. Coleman's first time seeing the ocean (too chilly to touch it though)

March: Coleman officially crawls!

April:
Everyone in our family is "SO BIG!"....we also became debt free this month! Woo-hoo!

May:
Our little man was becoming very independent and eating everything in site! He also began to push things around the house....so close to walking!

June:
We took a trip to Gatlinburg, TN with a stop in Brentwood to meet Dave Ramsey! We enjoyed hiking and the biggest milestone of the trip was that Coleman walked all by himself!

July:
Coleman turns 1 year old and is fascinated with doing this lovely pose anytime, anywhere. We also found out we were expecting baby #2 this month....but waited another 2 months to share the news with everyone!

August:
We took a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC with Justin's family. Coleman enjoyed playing in the fountains at one of the places we visited. We had to go back a 2nd time because he loved it so much (apparently the little boy behind him was having a blast too!)

September:
Lots of time spent at the farm this month visiting daddy while he worked worked worked! I just love this picture of Coleman and his grandpa in the apple tree! We were also thrilled to welcome Coleman's first BOY cousin to the world, Jacob! He has been great practice for Coleman to learn what it will be like with a baby (thanks bro and sis-in-law for letting us use your child as a guinea pig for our son) hehe

October:
We enjoyed a lot more time spent at the farm this month too! Coleman LOVED the wagon rides, tractors, and visiting his "dada". We had fun carving pumpkins as a family and also learned that we were going to have another baby BOY!

November:
We had some time to finally relax as the busy season came to an end. We took our yearly photo in the big rocking chair at the farm.

December:
We got to see our beautiful baby boy on a 3D/4D ultrasound. He looks a lot like Coleman's pictures did, but he has really long toes! Coleman spent some time in the hospital (check out the blogpost on that), and we enjoyed cutting down our Christmas tree! Didn't think I needed to post picture of Christmas as this month has already been very eventful!

So there you have it - a year in review (with pictures) of 2011. It was a wonderful year, full of growing and changing (for Coleman especially)...we are looking forward to 2012 and the new arrival of another baby boy!

Traditions

One of the traditions that I love that Justin and I do is our year ornament for the tree. As a child, I remember choosing a year ornament with my mom....something that represented something we did that year. My mom and dad have been doing a year ornament every year since they were married. Justin and I continued this tradition when we got married. I'm so excited for the day when we can get a smaller tree to decorate specifically with year ornaments (just like my parents do now as there are more than 25!). What a fun thing this will be to help remember significant events from each year and for our children to grow up with too.

I also started a yearly ornament for Coleman....okay, so he only has 2 so far, but my plan is to pick out an ornament that is special for that year (this year I'm thinking a barn/e-i-e-i-o or puppies, and last year was his hand print for his first Christmas). When he is all grown up and living on his own, I can give him a box of ornaments as a start to his own Christmas tree.

Here are the ornaments we have so far!

A computer  - because we met on eharmony

Bride and Groom - because we got married

A dog bone - because Harley joined our family

Pregnant Mama - because we were pregnant most of the year and welcomed Coleman to the family!

Enough said - a huge milestone for us! I made this ornament at a paint-pottery studio

Christmas Joys

I haven't really felt much of the Christmas spirit this past month. I think it's the lack of snow. Christmas is only 4 days away and it just doesn't feel like it to me because the weather has been so mild. My little Coleman aslo doesn't share my love for round-the-clock Christmas music, so that has also affected my "lack of" Christmas spirit.  I am happy to report that for the first time in 5 years, this Wendzel family is DONE Christmas shopping before the 24th! Woo-hoo! We are usually last minute shoppers, but with the added joys of a toddler, plus being preggers, I resorted to lots of shopping on amazon this year and had it delivered right to my door. AMAZING! Justin even got to go out and shop for me last weekend and just fnished up this past Tuesday. We are excited to have all of our Christmas' with family as well as our own take place over 3 days instead of stretching it out over a week or so. Guess I better go put on some Christmas tunes while my little man is napping so I can get in that Christmas spirit...

But first - my Christmas Joy for today

Don't you just LOVE these?? mmmm...i could eat a whole box in one sitting.

And apparently....they now make THESE!!!

I need to find these ASAP as I'm sure they'll bring me into the Christmas Spirit (with a hint of Easter feel too I'm sure)

Coleman's Hospital Adventure

Been a while since I've posted - and I'm not super thrilled about having to post about my precious baby boy who ended up in the hospital for almost 2 days! But, it's an easier way to keep people up to date and informed about what actually happened and where we are at now (my little guy is taking a lovely nap). Forgive the long post - the final diagnosis is at the bottom if you want to scroll down and read it....I want the whole story for my memory box =)

I went to Holland on Friday to spend the weekend with my parents so Justin could get some work done on the basement. All was going fine. Coleman had had some loose stools the past few days, but I was changing his diet some to see if I could remedy the problem. He had no fever and no other symptoms of being sick so we went on our way. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning were all fine for him.

Sunday around 11:30 Coleman began to get fussy - I figured it was because he was up super early that day and he just needed an earlier nap. So I tried putting him down (which basically means putting him in his crib and walking away as he falls asleep on his own)...but he was having none of that. He was screaming and screaming so I went in to check on him and tried to calm him down. He was pulling his legs to his chest, grabbing his stomach, screaming, and was basically inconsolable as I tried everything to calm him down. He would fall asleep for a minute, then wake up screaming again. This was so hard to watch and to try and figure out what he needed. This went on for a good hour before he started to throw up a little. I thought this was from being so upset because it didn't really look like throw up, just like he couldn't calm himself down and his stomach couldn't handle all the extra air going in. I was frustrated that I wasn't at home with Justin, so I decided to quick pack everything up (thanks mom for helping with this), put him in the car, and hope that the car ride would lull him to sleep 'til we got home (an hour car ride).

The car ride went okay, he was in and out of screaming fits, clinging to his puppy and pacifier. He would fall asleep for a few minutes, then cry and cry again. He did throw up 2 times on the way home, which I had to pull over for to make sure all was okay. He finally fell asleep for the last 20 min. of our drive home. I was feeling so sad for the little guy thinking he just developed a case of the flu. When we arrived home, Justin was able to hold him and he slept on him on and off for an hour or so. However, he would wake up to throw up, then fall right back asleep. We started getting concerned as his vomit was more of a dark brown color (I wont go into much more detail on what to expect when you have the flu/what that should look like). I called our Dr.'s 24 hour nurse line to see what they suggested as Coleman had never been this sick before and I was worried about dehydration. He hadn't had a wet diaper since that morning either. The nurse took all of his symptoms, went through scenarios with me, etc. and told me to watch him for a bit at home and if things didn't improve to call her back or take him in. Well, it only took 2 more times of Coleman throwing up and laying on the floor (fairly groggy and unresponsive to us) for Justin to say "we're going in".

So we grab a few things and load Coleman into the car and head over to the hospital ER. We didn't have to wait long, which was nice as they weren't super busy that day. It was now around 5pm so this had been going on for a good 6 hours. Coleman didn't have any problems letting the Dr.'s examine him (which is weird b/c he normally would have put up a huge fuss over someone touching and poking him), so we knew something wasn't right. They tried an anti-nausea medicine to see if that would help him stop throwing up (as this continued throughout our say), but that didn't really help. They also put him on IV fluids to get him hydrated (I had to step out of the room for this b/c I didn't think I would be able to hold it together...I'm so thankful for my husband who stayed with him the whole time)...come to find out, Coleman didn't even flinch or do much while they were finding a vein to put the IV in (again, another sign that something was not right with my normally active child). Coleman would occasionally wake up and ask for his puppy or his mama, but he would only really look at us, then fall back asleep with a blank stare in his eyes and we were very worried. The Dr.'s also wanted to do an x-ray of his belly to make sure all was okay. We had to wait a bit for the x-ray because they had a lot of traumas come through at one time. Once the xray was done (which he did great for according to Justin - I wasn't going to go in with him to the x-ray being pregnant), we just had to wait for the results. Justin's parents generously brought us some dinner (I think it was around 8 or 9pm at this point although I'm not really sure. The Dr.'s came in and said "we'd like to transfer him over to Bronson where they have more specialized care for pediatric patients". Talk about scary! They saw something on the x-ray but didn't want to speculate as to what it could be without having a pediatric Dr. look it over and put Coleman is his/her care. So we then waited for the ambulance to arrive to take my little boy over to the other hospital (only 7-10 min. away).

I got to ride with Coleman while Justin drove separately. We had some great nurses with us that made sure all went smoothly in the transition and Coleman did great. He actually woke up a little while we were getting him ready to go. I told him he was going to ride in an ambulance and he immediately did a "woo-woo" sound that he does for ambulance, police, and fire cars. Although a little more quiet and lack of energy in his "woo-woo" I at least got to see a part of my little boy again. He was interested in watching all the beeps from the heart monitor, blood pressure, pulse checker thing. I wasn't allowed to ride in the back with him, but the nurses assured me that he would be fine. I didn't hear a peep from him on the way over to the other hospital (turns out he fell asleep).

We arrived to our own room on the pediatric floor and they took Coleman's vitals, etc. and we had residents, resident supervisors, and finally the Dr. come in and chat with us. There were lots of things that could have caused Coleman to be so sick. We talked about intussusception (a form of blockage in the intestines where the large intestine pushes into the smaller intestine causing a blockage), ileus (intestinal obstruction), or a bad virus as well as the treatments that could be done for all of those things. Coleman was still in and out of throwing up and sleeping at this time - again, no issues having vitals taken or people touching him and examining him. Poor baby. The Dr.'s obviously wanted to do the least invasive procedures as possible (which we were totally in agreement with), so we waited a while to see how he would react to the iv fluids and to see if the vomiting would stop. Coleman continued to throw up throughout the night but the color was changing to more of an "empty stomach" type. Still no wet/soiled diapers. They tried a suppository to see if that would help bring down anything that could be blocking his intestines, but it didn't work.

In the morning, they decided to try an "air enema" where basically you put air inside the intestine to see if there is a blockage. They wheeled in a wagon for Coleman to go do the room in (which he didn't mind....see the photo). Still groggy and tired, but enjoyed the ride and did really well according to Justin for the procedure (I stayed back to try and sleep....which didn't happen). Hospital chairs...even ones that recline...are not good for a pregnant woman who has hip issues!! Justin and I were running on very little sleep at this point with nurses coming in every few hours to take vitals all night long, and with Coleman needing to be consoled, etc.

The results showed that there wasn't any intestinal blockage (HORRAY!) So now was just a waiting game to let the air pass through and see what happened and go from there if he didn't improve. Luckily, Coleman awoke from a good 2 hour nap, looked up through the hospital crib and waved at his daddy =) Awww...he then sat up in the crib and was like "okay, I'm ready". This was the MOST energetic we had seen him since Sunday morning. We took him down the hall to this amazing play room they have set up for the kiddos on that floor. He was so excited to see the fishes in the fish tank, push around the toys, play trains, etc. Even with the IV attached, he was on the move! He also ended up going to the bathroom - horray! At least now we felt like we were making some progress.  He did spike a few fevers that day so  they wanted to keep us overnight again just to monitor him and see some more improvement as well as how he would do on a regular diet.

Thankfully, my mom and dad came down for the evening to see how he was doing. My mom stayed the night which allowed one of us to go home for a few hours and get some sleep, then switch in the middle of the night. I actually slept better that night in the hospital (well, as well as you can in an uncomfortable chair). Coleman was spiking fevers on and off throughout the night, so we were still a bit worried, but the Dr.'s figured it was from him fighting off whatever virus was in his system.

We awoke the next morning to at VERY hungry boy! He downed cheerios, yogurt, water, anything we could get into his hands. It was like we had our Coleman back - which made us VERY happy! The Dr.'s came in and said that we could go HOME! However, as the morning we went on and we were waiting for the paperwork to be completed for our discharge, Coleman ran another fever. We tried some Tylenol again and it went back down, but our discharge was now held off 'til at least after lunch. Luckily the little guy made enough improvement that we were able to go home mid afternoon on Tuesday.

We got home and Coleman was a little confused about what was going on, where he was, etc. But I guess that's to be expected when you've been sleeping on and off with no schedule for almost 3 days. We all got some sleep Tuesday night which was great.

I don't think I have ever been that scared. To see your child hooked up to IV's, not knowing what is wrong with him, having him be somewhat non responsive towards you, and not acting like himself was so frightening. We are so thankful for the many friends and family who prayed for us during our time at the hospital. I truly believe that with those prayers, Coleman's diagnosis was the best it could have been for what we were facing. We are so thankful there wasn't an intestinal blockage that needed correcting.

The final diagnosis was ileus (intestinal obstruction), caused by a virus that he was fighting off. Basically - part of his stomach/intestines shut down for a short period of time which caused him to be in so much pain and to get sick. There was nothing we could have done to prevent it and it was just something his body had to work through. The fevers on/off were an act of his body fighting through it at the end. We are so thankful he is okay and getting back to his normal self. We are still working on getting back to our normal routine - a lot easier for me than Coleman.

12 before 2010 update

2 posts back I wrote down 12 things I'd like to accomplish before 2010...here's a little update on how I'm doing.

12 before 2012

Got this idea from another blog and I thought it was a great idea. I've been feeling very unproductive lately...maybe because I don't have a lot of energy due to the pregnancy and taking care of a toddler, maybe because I've been single parenting for the past 6 weeks and still have 2 weeks to go 'til we're back to some sort of normalcy, or maybe because when my Coleman is actually sleeping I like to take at least some time to myself instead of getting things done around the house. So this list is my motivation before I get into major nesting mode of cleaning my house (I have a different goal for the month of January...more to come on that)

12 things to do before 2012 (in no particular order)

1. Create photo albums online so that they are up to date (there are 6 to do). Don't have to get them all printed and sent, but they need to be completed so when its in the budget, I can order them and have them here!

So far I have 2.5 complete out of 6....but there are folders on my desktop with the pics for a few other albums in them and ready to be put in photo books. I'm pretty happy with this number.

2. Organize our basement - I've been making the unfinished space a mess going through different things. I want to get them all back on the amazing shelves my husband made so that when we do decide to finish it...moving items will be much easier.

With the budget having been set to "complete" our basement (and by complete I mean just carpeted with painted walls to equal a ginormous playroom) I haven't gotten around to my reorganization yet....maybe this weekend?

3. Create a list of things to get before Baby BOY #2 arrives - Got started on this list....but I need some help.

Any mamas who went through having more than one...what are some things you think I need to get/accomplish before baby #2 arrives?

4. Take a weekend away with my wonderful husband (excited that this trip is already planned) =) Justin and I took last weekend and went to the east side of the state.

We did some shopping, relaxed, had dinner (and talked the entire time and took our TIME eating...it was delightful), went bowling, more shopping, saw a movie (Courageous...AWESOME movie...check it out!), and finally returned to pick up our precious Coleman. He had a ball with his grandparents and did a great job while we were out. In fact, he really wanted nothing to do with us when we returned =( It was a much needed weekend away and we came back refreshed and ready for the winter season to begin!

5. Read the new Karen Kingsbury book that's coming out in November -

Getting ready to purchase online so I have it on the day it comes out. I plan on reading it while I'm at the Dr. office for a 2 hour glucose test after Thanksgiving...okay, I may have it read before then =)

6. Clean out the guest room/office and get it ready to be Coleman's new room -

haha! Haven't even started this and the room is a MESS!

7. Print photos for new picture frames and set up new floating shelves in living room (I've had the frames and shelves for over a month and haven't gotten anything up yet!) -

Photos printed and in frames, possibly having my wonderful husband hang them tonight!

8. Take Coleman to a children's museum -

Working on putting this on the calendar

9. Try 4 new recipes -

2 done and 1 in the crock pot as I'm typing...it smells good, but not sure it's going to taste as great....how come recipes never look as good as the picture?

10. Organize and clean out car (I know this one sounds weird, but there are a few new things I'd like to add to my car to help keep it from looking like a tornado ran through it)

Thanks to my wonderful dad while we were out of town....we came back (after having them lent us their vehicle for the weekend) to a VERY clean car inside and out....now I just have to get my few little organization items and I'll check this one off my list!

11. Make a habit of doing devotions daily (this one will be very hard to figure out with being so busy and so tired....I can do it!) -

Not doing so great on this one at the moment...but being inspired more the last few days

12. Create or do some of the new ideas I put on my boards on Pinterest (seriously, if you haven't checked out this website you need to...it's so addicting, but in a good way! Let me know if you want an invite to join!) -

Tried a few...still want to do a few more...more posts on that in a bit

WOW - I'm pretty pleased with how much I have already done. I didn't realize I had done a lot of these already and was feeling discouraged when beginning to type this out. I have a few more weeks left - hopefully I can accomplish my goals

A little update

I'm way overdue for a blog post. Seems that is my new trend lately - write an update, then wait a few weeks and write another one. I've had some great ideas floating around in my head, but just haven't found or made the time to blog about them.

So....

Coleman has been doing some really cute stuff lately, and since I'm somewhat keeping this blog for him as a "memory" book, I need to get his new tricks down in writing.

He is now signing: more, please, milk, all done, thank you, hat, and just new today - shoes (almost)

He has learned how to add the long e sound at the end of some words: puppy, daddy, and mommy
It is seriously one of the cutest sounds I have ever heard and you can tell clear as day what he is saying.

As far as talking goes - lately he just seems to be jabbering away at everything. He is telling jibberish stories, trying to repeat things that we tell him, etc. He knows how to say tractor, truck, daddy, mommy, puppy, grandpa, grandma, grandmom, grandad, blueberry, bye bye and a few more. Of course, they all don't sound like the exact word, but Justin and I can tell what they are.

Another new favorite noise/word that Coleman is doing is saying "woah". We usually say this if he falls quickly, or slips on something. We've been saying in for a while now, but Coleman has finally picked up on it and will repeat "woah, woah" after doing it himself. My belly is getting too big to lay him down in his crib so I just have to set him in there for nap and bedtime. The other day I went to put him in there for nap and he kinda leaped out of my arms and fell into the crib. He then said "woah", layed down, snuggled his puppy, and was ready for sleep. It took everything in my power not to laugh....but of course I did as soon as I got out of the room.  We have also been saying "woo-hoo" in a high pitch voice if something is exciting or we are really happy and now Coleman will say it too....very cute! I should really get these on video too.
His play puppy, Scout (a Leapfrog toy), has a saying "Let's make a silly sound....boogaly boogaly". We've started doing this with Coleman and asking him to make a silly sound....he will respond with silly "b" sounding words and tongue babbles and spit. Very cute!

Coleman has also taken to a love of BOOKS! YAY! He likes to go through his basket and bring one to you then will turn around and plop in your lap. He enjoys any book about puppies, tractors, animals, and trucks. He also has a book that sings "wheels on the bus", which is another favorite.

I've been trying to upload a recent movie I took of Coleman, but it hasn't worked. It's super cute too - it's of him doing "If You're Happy And You Know It", the whole song!

Other happenings around our household are...

The busy season is over! HORRAY! We made it 8 weeks with Justin working 90+ hour weeks/7days a week. We are happy that it is done and that he is home before dark each night. This will be our first weekend as a family of 3 since Labor Day weekend. Coleman has been a trooper throughout the season, but it has definitely taken its toll on both him and I. He loves to play with his daddy and will for the most part, let Justin do/take care of most things. However, he hasn't let him feed him his night bottle in a while and he always wants mommy around even if daddy is around too. This has been hard on me to always be wanted by him and it is harder for me to get a break in (unless its nap time or bedtime). So we're hoping that after this weekend and a week or two of being home at a regular time will get Coleman back into the swing of how things were before the busy season was here.

Here is a cute picture of us last year at the farm and this year - Crazy how much change happens in just 12 months (and I have a belly on me this year!) It's crazy to think that next year there will be 4 of us in the rocking chair!

Our little baby boy has been very active lately too! His favorite time to kick around and bug his mommy is in the evening when I finally have a chance to relax. It's either that, or I just don't feel him moving a ton throughout the day because I'm busy chasing around a toddler! Our ultrasound appointment went great, all is healthy with mom and baby and as far as we can tell - his head isn't crazy huge yet like his big brothers. This pregnancy has been completely different from Coleman's too. I have been having some serious hip pain throughout this pregnancy. So much in fact, that sometimes at night it is hard for me to get up and walk and rolling over to get comfortable in bed at night is just painful. I'm working on some stretches and I'm very thankful for a sister-in-law who is a physical therapist and has been a huge help so far! No weird cravings yet, although I did have a craving for a glacier (slushie and ice cream) from Dairy Queen, as well as salty sweet early on in the pregnancy. You can still find a can of pringles and some sort of sweet treat (usually peanut butter M&M's) in our pantry.

So there's my little update....and now for a few pics =) We had fun playing in the leaves today

And just because I can...here is an adorable photo of the two most important men in my life...

First Donut

I was packing up the car today and had Coleman in and out of the garage/driveway at my in-laws house "helping" me. There were two trays of donuts on the ground that I had already explained to Coleman AND Harley that they were to NOT be touched. Harley disobeyed the rule the night before and Coleman set the donut down (good job little guy).

So this morning, I was packing up the car and all of the sudden I hear Coleman saying "mmmm....mmmm"....I turned around and he has both hands wrapped around a cinnamon sugar donut and is just chomping away! I looked right at him and said "Coleman...what are you doing?" (in a stern...but half joking voice b/c it was really funny) and he took the donut away from his mouth and gave me the biggest smile I have ever seen. He then proceeded to eat the donut until I came and took it away after snapping a photo with my phone (mean mommy for taking it away, luckily there as no big tantrum). Probably one of the cutest things he's done!

You'd think this wouldn't really be a big deal...but this was Coleman's FIRST donut from the farm ever! I was hoping to get the moment on camera with a few shots of Justin and I with a donut and him, plus...we don't let him have a lot of sugar in general so this was a big deal to me that he was eating this super sugary covered donut!!! And, the donuts had been sitting there overnight - they weren't even fresh! Oh well....it was a cute moment and I'm glad I got a picture of it. The face and the "mmmm" was priceless.

Coleman 13 and 14 months!

I'm way overdue for a blogpost. My appologies for my absence. Things have been quite busy around here. The fall season is officially upon us and that means single parenting for me for 8 whole weeks!! Well, not entirely single parenting...but a good portion of it is. Justin is working so many hours right now... he does take 2 nights during the week to come home by 5:30/6 which is great...but other than that, I'm with Coleman from wake-up to bedtime. Thankfully we can bring lunch and/or dinner to Justin and have a little picnic as a fam. so he gets some time with Coleman. It's hard...but we're managing and I wouldn't trade it for anything because this is why I get to be a stay at home mom! I'm so proud of how hard my husband works for us.

Coleman has been up to so much lately I think I'll just list the new, exciting, entertaining, things he has been up to (thanks Melissa for your idea on this with listing Luke's new tricks)

* Running everywhere (in some adorable light up shoes and crocs I might add!)
* Getting molars in all 4 places, plus a tooth next to the top two - this is good and bad at the same time...poor guy, he's actually doing quite well with it most days.
* Coleman can make many animal sounds including a: dog, cow, sheep, bird, cat, snake, penguin (not a sound, but he waddles his head back and forth), and new this week...a rooster (more of an "oooo" high pitch sound...but he has the idea of cock-a-doodle-doo. I hope to get a movie soon of all his noises and post it.
* Coleman can say "da da", sometimes "mama", grandpa "ba-pa" and everything else seems to be "bu pa"...which translates into whatever we tell him something is...but he has the right idea with syllables and such if there are 2 or 1.
* Coleman holds a special place in his heart for his dad. He loves him so much! He loves to greet Justin at the door when he comes home and scream "DAAAA DAAAA". He knows that his dad drives a tractor at work so anytime we see a tractor on tv or driving around or playing with his toy tractor it is known to him as "dada". So cute! I love seeing those two interact together.
* He is all boy! Plays in the dirt, the mud, attempts to eat rocks and sticks, loves to be outside, falls down and gets back up by 'brushing it off'...a cute little thing we taught him. He also got a very lovely bruise from hitting the corner of the cabinet straight on (thanks for the help with that one Harley!).
* He loves to sit in his little chair and watch baby Einstein shows. The other day we were finishing up dinner after Coleman and he was watching a show - he starting tapping his hands on the arms of the chair along with the music....we couldn't stop laughing it was so cute!
* New favorite foods include rice and grapes. We haven't done a lot of sweets yet, but sometimes we'll let him have a few bites of ice cream and he goes crazy for more! The tantrum when we tell him all done is not very funny
* Tantrums - when he doesn't get his way or has to have something taken away from him, he throws himself on the floor and screams. This only lasts a few seconds, the he's off doing something else.
* He now makes "vroom" noises by blowing his lips together when playing with his tractors and cars
* Likes to point to, and poke his finger in his belly button, dads belly button, and moms belly button. With moms belly button we tell him there is a baby in her tummy and he will give it a kiss! Awww...
* Signs: More, All Done, Please, and Milk

As you can see - there are lots of fun things happening around here! I'll post a bunch of pics so you can soak in his cuteness and laugh at all the funny things he does.
