A COOL idea for a HOT day

It has been HOT HOT HOT here! I got out the baby pool for Coleman to try out. He LOVED it! Harley loved it too!

Got some great belly laughs whenever Harley would get in the pool

I saw this idea on my latest addictive website...Pinterest. If you haven't tried it yet...you should! It's great for crazy organizers like me who like to keep lists of ideas. It lets you categorize them in whatever way you choose! Check out mine HERE!

I was looking for a way to keep Coleman cool on these CRAZY HOT days we've been having. However, he's too young for Popsicles and ice cream (at least I think so with all the sugar content in them). So I found this idea the other day and thought...what a brilliant idea! Fruit Puree Popsicles!

What a brilliant idea! A great treat for the little man and a nice way to keep him cool on a hot day. I made mango and kiwi Popsicles so far as I haven't introduced any berries yet to him. But I am excited to make strawberry and blueberry ones soon. My mom bought me some great "DIY Popsicle" holders from the dollar store, which are a much better size than the ones in the picture above....and they were only $1. I was able to make 6 Popsicles from 1 mango and 2 from 1 kiwi. Mangoes are on sale this week 10 for $10 so I better stock up to make more for the summer.

Here are my yummy Popsicles in the freezer!

We tried them out last night...and SUCCESS!
