Coleman has been up to so much lately I think I'll just list the new, exciting, entertaining, things he has been up to (thanks Melissa for your idea on this with listing Luke's new tricks)
* Running everywhere (in some adorable light up shoes and crocs I might add!)
* Getting molars in all 4 places, plus a tooth next to the top two - this is good and bad at the same time...poor guy, he's actually doing quite well with it most days.
* Coleman can make many animal sounds including a: dog, cow, sheep, bird, cat, snake, penguin (not a sound, but he waddles his head back and forth), and new this week...a rooster (more of an "oooo" high pitch sound...but he has the idea of cock-a-doodle-doo. I hope to get a movie soon of all his noises and post it.
* Coleman can say "da da", sometimes "mama", grandpa "ba-pa" and everything else seems to be "bu pa"...which translates into whatever we tell him something is...but he has the right idea with syllables and such if there are 2 or 1.
* Coleman holds a special place in his heart for his dad. He loves him so much! He loves to greet Justin at the door when he comes home and scream "DAAAA DAAAA". He knows that his dad drives a tractor at work so anytime we see a tractor on tv or driving around or playing with his toy tractor it is known to him as "dada". So cute! I love seeing those two interact together.
* He is all boy! Plays in the dirt, the mud, attempts to eat rocks and sticks, loves to be outside, falls down and gets back up by 'brushing it off'...a cute little thing we taught him. He also got a very lovely bruise from hitting the corner of the cabinet straight on (thanks for the help with that one Harley!).
* He loves to sit in his little chair and watch baby Einstein shows. The other day we were finishing up dinner after Coleman and he was watching a show - he starting tapping his hands on the arms of the chair along with the music....we couldn't stop laughing it was so cute!
* New favorite foods include rice and grapes. We haven't done a lot of sweets yet, but sometimes we'll let him have a few bites of ice cream and he goes crazy for more! The tantrum when we tell him all done is not very funny
* Tantrums - when he doesn't get his way or has to have something taken away from him, he throws himself on the floor and screams. This only lasts a few seconds, the he's off doing something else.
* He now makes "vroom" noises by blowing his lips together when playing with his tractors and cars
* Likes to point to, and poke his finger in his belly button, dads belly button, and moms belly button. With moms belly button we tell him there is a baby in her tummy and he will give it a kiss! Awww...
* Signs: More, All Done, Please, and Milk
As you can see - there are lots of fun things happening around here! I'll post a bunch of pics so you can soak in his cuteness and laugh at all the funny things he does.
