I am so blessed to be a mommy of two adorable boys. It's definitely different than I imagined, but in a good way. Sure, we are having our challenges, but I'm figuring things out one day at a time. I'm learning how to be even more patient with Coleman as he adjusts to being a big brother (which he's doing a great job of) and approaches turning 2. I'm learning patience with Brekan as we continue to figure each other out and as I learn what his cries and noises mean. I'm also learning how to juggle my time between both boys so that they each feel special and loved and get some good "mommy and me" time. I'm trying to figure out how to take care of 2 kiddos and keep my house looking and feeling like I want it to (one of my biggest challenges) And in all of this, I'm trying to figure out how to be the best wife possible to my amazing husband who has so much patience for me as I try and figure it out as a mommy of 2.
I LOVE being a mommy of 2.
I've been reading this blog for a while now and the gal is the author of a devotional book that I have been working through (31 days to clean). She came up with a "Mommy Resolution" similar to the father's resolution in the movie Courageous. I read through it and was on the verge of tears....how wonderful would it be for my children to have a mommy like this? After reading through it I've decided to come up with my own mommy resolution - it's still in the works, so for now...take a look at THIS and be encouraged if you are a mom to come up with your own. It definitely puts in to perspectives the reasons why I want to stay at home and take care of my babies as well as how I want to raise them.
Enjoy!
