This and That...

I'm SO overdue for a blogpost. It's been on my mind for several weeks, but I just can't seem to find the time to do it in between naps, cleaning, spending time with my family, etc. So here's a little something about what's going on around here...

Outside my window:
First, windows are OPEN and ceiling fan is pushing a lovely breeze through the house. Beautiful sunshine, hanging baskets, green trees, freshly mowed yard (thanks hubby!), it's gorgeous outside today! I think a trip to the park is in order for Coleman and I later!
I am listening to:
My NEW washer and dryer running. LOVE them! The monitor to see if my little man is going to wake up soon.

I am thinking:
I can't believe Coleman is going to be 1 in less than 2 months! How did that year fly by so quickly?!?!

I am thankful:
For my parents...they are so wonderful! I am also thankful that everything in my freezer didn't melt after loosing power for 5 hours last night!

From the kitchen:
Stuff all over the counter. Went grocery shopping yesterday so everything is in stock!

I am wearing:
Capri's and a white t-shirt, bare feet too!

I am hoping:
That I can get my house clean throughout the week instead of saving Thursday and Friday to get it done.

I am creating:
A "to do" list for cleaning the house on a weekly basis with laundry as well so I don't get overwhelmed at the end of the week when I feel like NOTHING has been done!

Around the house:
Toys scattered here and there, New washer and dryer in the laundry room, fairly clean everywhere else today!

I am reading:
Been checking back in with 2 books. Super Baby Food (for snack ideas) and Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child for suggestions with  nap time.

I am watching:
Nothing right now....have some DVR'ed Supernanny's to watch

One of my favorite things:
My new washer and dryer...can you tell I'm in love with them? They're front loading and quiet and energy efficient!

I also LOVE waking up in the mornings (after Justin has gotten up with Coleman), coming out the door and having Coleman smile so big and crawl as fast as he can to me for a hug! He gives the best hugs too with cute little squeezes!

A few plans for the rest of the week:
Trip to Holland on Wed. night, Play dates for Coleman, small group on Friday
