Photo Review of 2011

Last year, around the new year, I posted THIS. I thought it would be fun to do it again this year for all of our friends and family who will be checkin' out the blog after receiving their Christmas cards. =) So here it is folks...a year in review (mainly with photos) for the Wendzel's. Be on the look out for some new posts to come about all that Coleman has been up to - he'll be 18 months on the 3rd of January! CRAZY


January:
Coleman LOVED watching his Baby Einstein: Baby Noah puppet shows dvd before bed

February:
We took a trip to MD to visit my grandmom, then headed over to NC for the Corn Maze Conference for Justin's work. Coleman's first time seeing the ocean (too chilly to touch it though)

March: Coleman officially crawls!

 

April:
Everyone in our family is "SO BIG!"....we also became debt free this month! Woo-hoo!

 

May:
Our little man was becoming very independent and eating everything in site! He also began to push things around the house....so close to walking!

June:
We took a trip to Gatlinburg, TN with a stop in Brentwood to meet Dave Ramsey! We enjoyed hiking and the biggest milestone of the trip was that Coleman walked all by himself!

 

July:
Coleman turns 1 year old and is fascinated with doing this lovely pose anytime, anywhere. We also found out we were expecting baby #2 this month....but waited another 2 months to share the news with everyone!

August:
We took a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC with Justin's family. Coleman enjoyed playing in the fountains at one of the places we visited. We had to go back a 2nd time because he loved it so much (apparently the little boy behind him was having a blast too!)

September:
Lots of time spent at the farm this month visiting daddy while he worked worked worked! I just love this picture of Coleman and his grandpa in the apple tree! We were also thrilled to welcome Coleman's first BOY cousin to the world, Jacob! He has been great practice for Coleman to learn what it will be like with a baby (thanks bro and sis-in-law for letting us use your child as a guinea pig for our son) hehe

October:
We enjoyed a lot more time spent at the farm this month too! Coleman LOVED the wagon rides, tractors, and visiting his "dada". We had fun carving pumpkins as a family and also learned that we were going to have another baby BOY!

November:
We had some time to finally relax as the busy season came to an end. We took our yearly photo in the big rocking chair at the farm.

 

December:
We got to see our beautiful baby boy on a 3D/4D ultrasound. He looks a lot like Coleman's pictures did, but he has really long toes! Coleman spent some time in the hospital (check out the blogpost on that), and we enjoyed cutting down our Christmas tree! Didn't think I needed to post picture of Christmas as this month has already been very eventful!

So there you have it - a year in review (with pictures) of 2011. It was a wonderful year, full of growing and changing (for Coleman especially)...we are looking forward to 2012 and the new arrival of another baby boy!
